Little lamb sized pockets

Postby ems101 » Thu May 29, 2014 6:45 pm

Manufacturer: little lamb
Nappy Name: sized pocket
Type of Nappy: pul pocket
Fastener: popper
Material: pul outer, bamboo insert
Size: 3 sizes available, this review is for s1 7-20lb
Reliability: 7/10
Absorbency: 8/10
Cuteness: 8/10
Drying Speed: 9/10
Slimness: 8/10
Value for money: 8/10

Overall Comment: Great combo of easy nappy and absorption. Perfect for those new to cloth and childcare/grandparents etc

I liked this nappy because: :wine:
It has a double gusseted leg which means fab containment of newborn poo!
Its really absorbant due to the bamboo insert
Its dries quickly because the insert unfolds
They come in lovely bright colours
They are easy to put together and to use.
You can add boosters for extra absorbancy

Downsides are:
The sz1 was a bit large on my new born. And thats considering he was 9lb 5! So not really suitable from birth.
Only block colours, no patterns

As a dedicated fitted user, this really offers tge best of both worlds, all the absorbancy of a fitted, the ease of a pocket, and without tge hassle of matching up boosters, liners, wraps etc which has prooved problematic for daddy and granny in the past!!

Well he was born at 9lb 6oz so until about 3-4m or 20lbs. They are fab for heavy wetters, the triple layer compressed bamboo is the bees knees!

Do the inserts bobble at all? The ones im looking at have quite bobbled inserts whereas the new ones look quite smooth? Wondering whether i should just buy new?

I'm pretty sure mine are still smooth, not bobbly that you'd notice if they are (as I haven't!!)

Aren't they in the sale too @LynniferT

@LynniferT I checked my inserts and some are slightly bobbly but not in a horrid way, more like a soft flannel way!
