First day and Night in cloth!

Postby moonfruit » Fri Oct 10, 2008 10:33 am

Well, af came yesterday and I got to use my new pads, and can't believe it's taken me this long to use them. I was a little worried last night, but this morning everything was fine and one pad lasted all night. :D

Just one question, should I dry pail with the nappies or soak in cold water until I wash them?

Thanks Lisa x

There've been a few similar posts about this recently - I think a lot of people either soak in cold water (use an old ice-cream tub or similar) - or rinse the pad in cold water and then pop in the nappy bucket...

HI

So far have used a couple of fairy hammocks (with minki top), an ellas house last night (which was fab), a minki one and now using one from debbies nappies. I bought a couple of each to see which I would like best. But will probably end with far too many, like my nappies, far too addictive

Gosh, I had no idea these products existed!! If I did have periods I would def give them a try but alas the contraceptive coil I have stops them. Had the same coil before we started to try for Gracie and got preg straight away so it didn't affect things, the only problem having it is we won't get a happy accident baby :(
