mooncup and swimming

SO I thought since I was having a breakthru bleed half way thru these new pill I got that I would use my mooncup when we went swimming today. All fine and dandy until about an hour after swimming. I had this feeling that I was having a leaking problem, and thought I can't be pissing myself can I. So I went to the toilet and checked my mooncup. It was full. It was mostly pool water from the colour of it. Never thought I could take the water away with me in that way.

How bizzare!

I don't think it is meant to. Will have to check after swimming next time I have the cup in.

I dont use one but thats bizarre I thought it kind of created a seal in there iykwim.

I suppose as you were swimming you may have contorted yourself to slightly break the seal, like doing breaststroke etc but yes, sounds like worth checking after swimming!

I went swimming in the sea with a tampon in once and ended up with a bit of an infection because it had swelled with sea water!!
