Im having a CSP crisis

Af ended for me last week and i had untold amounts of leaks (one on my cream dining room chair cover   )and was horrified...what am i doing wrong...i want to love my CSP but its not happening at the moment... Its all up for sale at the moment but only one pad has sold (which i would have sold anyway) so i could change my mind and keep it...

Someone convince me please :(

 Is it leaking through the pad or off the sides?

Thanks karen, no it didnt go through it was leaking at the sides and front really but it was a weenotion XL and I was really heavy (tmi sorry). I do have two ultimini which were fab and did a grand job but at £12 each I cant justify a stash of those :(

What are they made of Tory? I dont have a heavy af so cant recommend any in particular for a heavy flow, but perhaps replacing them gradually over time with more absorbant ones would be an idea? I actually have 2 Puddlekins that I dont use which you are welcome to - I cant for the life of me remember what they are made of though but they are a good bit thicker and longer than my Weenotions ones.

They were both minkee topped PUL backed (one XL long and one wall to wall)

Sounds like there's not enough absorbency and then it hits the PUL and spreads out, thus leaking over the sides. Personally I stick to bamboo. I've only ever leaked through once, never out the sides.

cotton topped - have you tried.
i 'think'
order of absorbancy is -
cotton 1
bamboo 2
hemp - somewhere quite a bit slower

so cotton topped with bamboo inner would i think work better, also look at the shape - i've found sometimes a more rounded wider end works better.
