Some leaks can be caused by inserting them too far in. They sit much lower than a tampon. I think of if as nothing peeking out :hohoho:

Yeah I was going to say that they sit much lower than a tampon. Mine I had to cut the stem right off as otherwise it would have hung out LOL I find if its in too high it will leak. I kind of fold, fold then pop it in and then pull it down slightly so it creates a good seal. If it doesnt seal I change the angle slightly.

It took me 3 af's to get it working for me, as I need it to be as high as a tampon would go. Trying to keep it low was painful and messy for me, now I can't feel it and I don't leak.

Ok. I'm really hoping it is not going to take too long although def still better than tampon despite there issues. I'm sorry but although I know what you are refering to when you say af I don't actually know what it stands for! X

You'll get there eventually - just keep trying different angles etc until you find what works for you! Until you are sure you can always wear a backup csp (cloth sanitary protection) - I tend to anyway as I have such heavy periods.

af stands for Aunt Flo - apparently an old euphemism for your period!

Lol love Auntie Flo! Must use that. On a side, any fairy hammocks you recommend? I have a four pack I tried but they just spin around my pants and end up upside down! Not good :-( sorry very new to drop all this. X
