Question re a black menstrual cup

Postby Heather London » Wed Feb 08, 2012 6:12 pm

I am going to order some more Meluna cups. They offer an all black cup - good dark shade but you cant see through it. At first I thought it was a great idea -black menstrual wear of all kinds is very popular due to hardly any staining.

Then I thought I might not like it myself because I would find it harder to clean inside as it would be hard to see in to it and see if any further cleaning needed.

Really in a dilemma so would appreciate some other cup users advice. Thanks

I like the idea of it. Would look a bit less ugly I think! It's very suggestive of its purpose, so colours or black would be a nice development.

No. I won't use black csp either though. I like to keep an eye on what's going on and the cleaning factor would bother me too :giggle:

I too would like to know that it was squeaky clean so it wouldn't be for me.

I have a green one and it seems so much cleaner than my clear one!

I don't see that the colour of it would make me less likey to scrimp on cleaning, I'm always meticulous about that. Really surprised by the response! Are other colours a possibility?

It's because I am meticulous - because I wouldn't be able to see anything I miss as well with a dark coloured cup! The tiny air holes, etc.
