Fabric Addiction

So, I bought 10 Fat Quarters which arrived during the week - I them, and have stroked and looked lovingly at them, wondering what I shall make (there are 2 FQ of the dark pink polka dot)



Was very happy with my tiny stash, then today I found the fabric shop At first I was disappointed as they only seemed to have rolls of plain or not very exciting polycottons, but then I found - the Fat Quarter Shelf, full of cotton bundles

Being my usual restrained self, I came home with just 2 bundles, so another 14 FQ to add to my stash





When am I going to be brave enough to actually make something out of them instead of just looking at them

what's wrong with just sitting back & admiring them

im with you on this one. i have a michael miller fat quarter which i might just put on a canvas or something or put in a frame because im so out of ideas. originally i was going to make a pul nappy wrap but i dont have the time at the moment...

I need to find a decent fabric shop, I have some projects I need some nice but not too expensive fabric for!!

This reminds me that I really need to sort my fabric stash out!

I like patchworking - you could design a few pretty blocks then see them together with plain or patterned strips in the middle and border? The difficulty with fat quarters is there's never quite enough fit a large project! But blocks or cushions would be perfect.
