Am very pleased with my first attempt It is an upcycled Tshirt one made from the free Rocket Bottoms NB pattern
I had 2 layers of tshirt and 3 of hemp with a thick towelling over the top:
There is a fleece lining to keep him dry
Poppers on through just the 2 tshirt layers not the fleece:
I used the channel method to do the elastic so attached that:
Then turned and topstitched and added the other poppers including a little cord one to clip the front down. There is an optin to add another popper to the wings if I end up with a tiny baby to make it go smaller but it looks pretty perfect NB size to me so I wont' bother now I can add later once we meet our little man
Again a learning curve! Took ages but I'm sure I'll get quicker and quicker! Even Josh's 13 year old mates that came in were very impressed with it - they thought it was 'cool'
