I'm making my own nappy and hemp inserts!

I'm very impressed with my self. I cut up a gorgeous burgandy dressing gown I then bought some hemp fleece and some winter stripes fleece and I've made a stuffie type nappy, It looks great, not quite finished yet but can't beleive how easy its actually going and I'm not a very good sewer at all!!! If only i had time at home (did it when away in the uk) I'd make loads more. I also made some hemp boosters similar to the eh hemp ones. The material cost me £8 or so and I've made 6 or 7 big inserts as well as the attached bit in the nappy,plus a couple of washable sanitary pads and I've still got enough to make more pads. How cool is that considering 1 insert costs £4.50! If your thinking about it I'd say go for it it really is easy!
