Postby Sophiebeth23 » Tue Apr 08, 2014 3:55 pm

Need help introducing a bottle as I'm going on breast feeding training next month and can't take my exclusive breast fed daughter who is 3 months. Stupid I know!

Are you sure they won't let you take her? That does sound ridiculous on their part!

As for introducing a bottle, different babies prefer different brands, but try expressing a bit and getting someone other than you to give it to her - my boys wouldn't take bottles from me until it was an established routine.

9-4 for 2 days. I know it's stupid it's training with children's centre staff as I'm volunteering to run a cot gossip group. I'll have to express while I'm there too I guess so it doesn't effect my supply.

My sister who is a midwife is having her one day so she can always cup feed her. However, I'm not sure my husband will manage.

I think it unreasonable to expect you to leave a breastfed 3 month old at home form two days, if it were me I would just tell them that.

I'd agree too. I think getting a ebf baby to take a bottle will be alot of hard work just for two days.v

What would happen if you just turn up with your baby?
