Perseverance paid off

Just to update you Penny is now a fully breast fed baby! She still has one expressed milk feed a day but that's mainly so DH gets to feed her.

She was weighed yesterday and is still putting on weight on the same centile so she's definitely doing well

There seems no logical explanation other than her strength just wasn't enough to draw from me.

Just wanted to share and say thanks for listening to me moan! X

Lucy, I'm so so so proud of you, you had an incredibly tough start and your perseverance was just amazing . I talked to the girls at work about you and everyone was so impressed that you stuck it out where so many mums would have given up, what you did was truely fantastic I even said to Joël I'm not sure if I could have stuck at it as long as you did.

And a great idea too as it means you have a baby who can / will take a bottle of EBM, both mine always refused!

Thanks everyone. I'm so pleased and can stop second guessing my body now! I'm desperately trying to get my supply up to donate to @TanayB2b 's little one, who seems even more stubborn than Penelope! although I've gone from being able to pump 210ml without a problem to struggling yo get 100ml
