I've fallen in love!. so what woven to try?

Postby docmaggoo » Sun May 08, 2011 9:40 pm

Gosh!
I knew me & hubby loved our mei tai with DS1, but the new moby wrap Ive got with DD2 is gorgeous!
She didn't like being in the mei tai with her legs frogged up, and shes too small to put her legs down in the mei tai - hence getting a stretchy!

I wore it all day today whilst out at a family fun day - brilliant!
Even managed to :bf: & walk in it!! (no-one noticed at all  )

I realise the stretchy won't last forever as she gets heavier - so im thinking about a woven??

Are there any real differences between them?
What preferences do people have & why?

Appreciate your thoughts!

I have mostly Didy's but still think a lot of Hoppediz for value for money :)
If you are looking for a summer one then Vatanai are lovely.

Have no advice on wovens, but great to hear the Moby is so good, going to get one this time around :wine:
Well done for mastering :bf: while slinging...I hope I can :D

Woven slings are like nappies, what works for some don't for others. You really need to try a few to see which you find most comfortable. I like Didymos and Girasol here.

Don't think their is anyone who doesn't like a didymos but they are all slightly different weaves and so feel different to wear. I love my didys and neobulle wovens.

Ive borrowed a natibaby for a month and it is lovely. Ive also got 2 wrapsody (gypsy mamas) on order from the states. They are gauze wraps so will be much cooler for the summer months and I will let you know how I find them when they arrive

I love didys and girasol (didys more!) but I havent been able to try too many wovens as Im forever spending my money on nappies LOL

I used a Moby almost exclusively til T was 6 months and I can happilly carry him in it now at 15 months but I have to readjust it several times as of course it sags with the weight.
