I packed at about 33 weeks. I had 2 planned home births so I knew that if I ended up in hospital, it would be likely that I'd need to stay in so I packed for 3 days so that I didn't have to rely on dh to bring stuff in.

I was utterly useless with Jacob; had a homebirth planned so nothing packed. I clearly just never explored the possibility that it might not happen. Born 2w late, and too big to fit into newborn clothes, only cloth nappies (which weren't allowed in the hospital) and a section but not even owning a single nightshirt. To say I was disorganised is an understatement. Thank heavens my mum went home to fill the gaps, as Jacobs dad would have been a disaster!

Mildly more organised thus time, but only just! Nothing packed for me beyond pads and breast pads (I don't own enough clothes), but after what DH bought in last time I was admitted, I have written a fairly specific list!

For baby, all I have us a couple of vests/gowns, a hat, some wipes and a pack of tiny dispies. I might be being thick, but what else would I need?

I'm not even sure myself @cuppachaplz!
I'm taking in newborn size clothes, but my midwife say baby is smaller than he should be on her graphs, she isn't worried though. I was wondering if I should take some early sized grows?
Babies!!!!! :giggle:
