Cloth Nappy Tree Forum

I am in the middle of switching to cloth at night but im not sure how much boosting i need,last night he went to bed in an easy peasy bambeasy,2hemp inserts and then an extra bamboo booster between nappy and wrap,it seemed to work ok,i did change him at 3am,but it lasted 9hrs before and wasnt overly wet.Tonight i am trying a wnnn,but do you think i need to add another booster,as my hemp ones are currently drying,or do you find the nn+inserts are enough!

we find the wnnn are more than enough for 12 hours. we use them with wool and the outsides of the wnnn are only slightly damp (or not even damp) in the morning, but then my DD is only 16 months and not a heavy wetter.

I have to boost our Wnnn with 2 ll bamboo boosters and an easy peasy hemp as well as the original Wnn bamboo and hemp inserts
with wool over the top the outside of the Nappy is still quite wet sometimes but with that combo we don't get any leaks anymore

@Princessmedi Hemp is very thirsty but very slow to absorb so it's best to put a bamboo between baby's bottom & any hemp in the nappy. So for last night's nappy, I would put the bamboo in the nappy & a hemp in between the nappy & the wrap.

Thanks,thats what i have done tonight,wnnn then a hemp insert between the nappy and wrap.waiting on a fleece wrap so i have used a tb pul one i was given,not overly impressed with it but we'll see im so excited to be getting rid of sposies at night
