Wool cover for large LLS night nappy - what size rise?

Really hope someone can help me with this!

I have a large LLS heavy wetter night nappy on order but I also need to buy some shorties and longies to go over it as I don't think my current stash will fit. But I'm not sure what measurements to go for. It's the rise I'm most concerned about

Does anyone have this nappy and could you tell me what size rise you opted for with your wool please?

Can you measure your Lo with the nappy on to get the rise? Or you could just say a large cover should do which is usually at least 18" rise. I like to make mine with a 20" rise for large night nappies. HTH

Thanks Shaunie. I don't yet have the nappy - it's a custom so I have to be very patient (not my strong point)! But I want to get my wool now so I can use the nappy as soon as it arrives:-)

Could you ask Beth or Amber the rise of the pattern and add a couple of inches?

i'm bored! - I googled, the rise for a large is 20", I would add on another 3 or 4 inches onto that. If its way too long then you could always fold the waistband down a bit.

But I like harry high pants for night time
