Night Time pants (not nappies) for children

Postby JabberJabber » Fri Aug 02, 2013 10:22 am

So, who's able to give me some reviews of what's out there at the moment for 4-5 year olds that don't look like nappies but still cope with night time bed wetting?

@louise

How much wee do the mother ease ones hold?

@jabberjabber - were in the same boat. James had to go into disposables because of recurrent balantitis. (So frequent he was heading towards a circumcision. So although I hate sposies - they were the only answer to avoid surgery)
We current use supermarket own pull-ups.

We tried bright bots but they don't hold much.

Sod's law is that J will be dry in pull-ups for over a week - but soon as we switch to bright bots - then he widdles for England!!!

I'm (as ever) indecisive about what to get. Oliver is starting to remember to go to the toilet just before he goes to sleep and when he first wakes up, but still isn't dry. He is adamant that he is a big boy and nappies are for babies so pull ups were where we got to.

I'll take a look at the bedwetter pants.@Louise What do you think of the sizing on them?

What about waterproof bed protectors ? Isobella would have a really full night nappy absolutely drenched so I just assumed she would wear it til it became dry. But soon as I switched to the sheet she started getting up to go to the toilet x

Subbing as we haven't found anything yet, so DD is in Huggies night-time pull-ups :-( she's in the biggest size they do (6) as the pyjama pants gave her a rash on her back.

I'm out of night pants so I've had to put him in a WNNN. He is not impressed.
