Popper pocket nappies for night use???

Postby sALLYf104 » Mon Jan 12, 2009 1:55 pm

I am giving up on velcro as LO can reach into her sleeping bag and undo it  and have had 2 fairly horrific poo incidents :hohoho: :hohoho: .
What popper pocket nappies would anyone recommend for night-time? Ideally side snap I would think to make it as difficult as possible for little fingers!!!
Thanks
Sally

The only pockets I find work at night are bumgenius which are aplix, however I've heard great things about minki pockets, and I emailed them last night and the slinki minkis can be made with poppers upon request!

Slinki Minkis are excellent for nights. Michela makes them as standard with applix, but will do poppers on request. I recently had my 4 converted to poppers as Rhys was able to open the applix.

I have been using velcro slinki minkis - are the popper ones a lot harder to open??

I can't say having not used them, but how about sending them to her and changing them over to poppers, if they are no better you've not lost much, if they do then YAY!!!!

Yes - this is what I am thinking - provided it doesn't cost too much... :hohoho: :hohoho: :hohoho:
Seems a shame to sell them as they are otherwise great and are practically brand new.

They are a bit harder to open, unfortunately Rhys has learnt how to do poppers too now  so every now and then he remembers that he can open them and drives me mad. AFAIK she only charges about £1.40 per nappy to retrofit poppers so it's worth it in my opinion even though he did learn how to undo them.

I've been quoted £4.50 per nappy
Not sure this is now such a viable option....
