standard or slinki?

Thinking of trying a nappy by minki for nights. I have put out a wanted. Which is best as a night nappy? Hannah isn't a particularly heavy wetter. She weighs about 23lb?

not sure on this one but didn't want to read and run. Gracie isn't a heavy wetter but I much preferred the standard but that was probably because the standard and slinki we had were smalls perhaps a medium will be better in a slinki. I will keep an eye out to see what people say as I am going to order a couple more for nights. x

I use large slinkis on Rhys and night and they are fab, but I've never used a standard so can't compare unfortunately. The only advice I can give is to go for fleece outer, not minkee as it's much more reliable for a night nappy in my opinion. Minkee is fine for day time, but not night time.

I used Large Standard's on my 3 year old as he was a heavy wetter at night but Slinki's on my 21 month old as she isn't a particularly heavy wetter plus the standard's are HUGE! on her.

I always hated the crossover tabs on the standard I had for Charlotte, always seemed to make the front really bulky, I have been using large slinkis on Ben and they are working great. Granted, there isn't as much room in the pocket but plenty to get all the stuffing in I need.

Not a very useful answer from me I'm afraid as I use both and like both equally

Jan, do your girls wear the same size standard as they do slinki? I've been thinking about getting a standard, just for the sake of it , but don't know whether the fit is different. Rhys fits a large slinki.

yep, larges all round now, although a medium standard would still fit I should imagine, but wouldn't get enough stuffing in there for night time now!

Sooo should I go for a medium slinki for Gracie??? A pd insert and 1 or 2 easy peasy is enough for night time for her!
