Pocket night nappies for toddler

Postby banana » Fri Mar 05, 2010 3:59 pm

Hi

My ds is going to potty train soon but thought i might give night nappies a go again. I was thinking of using some night pocket nappies. He isn't a heavy wetter as he never drinks much but he has quite chunky thighs.

Any ideas?

Slinki Minkis are good, although I don't use them at the moment as the fit isn't quite right.

Baby beehinds magic-alls are also excellent.

Slinki minkis are good but I prefer the fit of the large standard minki for a boy - the rise is higher. My boys tend to pee up and out of night time nappies (think boy anatomy compared to girl anatomy  :giggle: ) Minkis can be mega stuffed if necessary - I usually use a large cotton prefold with a hemp bigger weed insert for Samuel - there's loads more room for stuffing too. Samuel is 4 1/2 and he easily fits into the large standard fit minkis. I don't think we've ever had a leak from a minki.
