Have you tried microfibre?? I find it great, really really quick absorbing. I use it instead of terry usually and find it works better. For a night nappy I use a tots orignal with a MF then either 2 bamboo or hemp or 1 of each under the flap, I usually use a fleece liner that completely cover the nappy area so no MF touches her skin if it sticks out from the booster.

Yes the lanolin spray is just for topping up the lanolin between proper soaking in lanolin. That would explain your problems!

D'oh - back to wet wool for the weekend again, and using the fleece wrap instead.

I'll give putting some microfibre in a go as well, but I'm beginning to think it's me being incredibly stupid (and lazy - thought the spray would be easier and less time consuming) and not lanolising properly.

Luckily Bella doesn't seem to mind the slightly soggy wraps etc.

Personally I avoid microfibre at night as for us it causes leaks... I find the wee tends to squish out of it causing leaks... I find a mixture of terry (as in the huggles) hemp and bamboo work well...

And yes - I agree, sounds like you need to lanolise fully - hope that works for you

Also, does your lo sleep on her front?? Just regarding the Night Notion....

Apparently the side snappers are better for babies who sleep on their front. We had a front snapper and are now swapping it for a SS for very similar reasons to you.

Yay. I re-lanilised both the wool wraps and used one last night over her Huggle and it was dry this morning!!
