Looking for a new night nappy for my slimjim

Postby Lizzy » Mon Jun 21, 2010 12:59 pm

Rufus is a diddy little fella, so am hoping to find a night nappy to suit.

He wears a boosted bumble at the moment. He was never a heavy wetter, but he seems more so now (drinking lots in the warm weather + still feeds in the night  ) and I really don't think I can boost the bumble any more without buying bigger covers/PJs too. :giggle:

So i am looking for the slimmest night nappy around, but still fairly absorbant (as i don't see him giving up night-time booby anytime soon  )

Tried bedbugs and they were ok, but not the best fit, found them quite stiff.

UDNN and WNNN used to leak around the legs, but might be better now he's filled out a bit I suppose...?

Is there a normal nappy that might do for Rufus for nights as he isn't a very heavy wetter and we use wool covers ?

Thanks ladies, you always come up trumps. :wine:

No need to be  about your lil man still having a nighttime feed, Lili still does and she's 2 1/2 :hohoho:

I haven't tried them but Wild Child NNs are popular too, if you can get hold of one, and Wee Notions Night Notions of course!

WSS

We had our first night in our LLS last night and I was really impressed. We were at a family party early evening where dd was plyed with loads of sugar  and so she drank loads before bedtime. She's a heavy wetter anyway so I was quite nervous that the nappy would hold up - and it did! It was pretty wet in places this morning, but no leaks and parts of the nappy and the fleece soaker were still dry :wine:

Beth and Amber who make the nappies are so helpful as well. I'm ordering some day nappies next.

We have a large and it's trimmer than our large, minkee outer WNNN without the booster you put in the pocket (iyswim). I think it's narrower in the crotch as well. I went for the heavy wetter version which has a bamboo hemp core and a zorb booster. x
