getting hot at night

my LO is wearing a old style wnnn and a disana wool cover, he is still winging now and wont go to sleep, hes wet through in sweat, hes got nothing else on, i feel cruel cooking him in wool but this is what he wears for night! what should i do? is there a cooler option?

Wool is way cooler than PUL or Fleece hun.
A fan in his room maybe? windows open?

Dawn's actually gone to bed with a duvet and her dino fleece over her tonight,. so will have to go in later and take them off her

Heh except I'd say euwww to sweaty waterproof sheets

Wool IS the coolest option I'm afraid - short of getting a fan in the room there's not a lot you can do...
I'm assuming windows are open etc
