First time in cloth tonight - reassure me

Tonight's the night! I've put DS in a wnnn and wool shorties. Feeling a bit anxious though... The nappy is a bit gapey round the thighs, does that mean it will leak? Couldn't get it any tighter without cutting off his circulation. Will it be ok?

It depends on how gapey really. A bit of gape is all right. It should be fine with the wool shorts.

my dd has mega chunky thighs, but a skinny tummy, so we have a bit of gaping, but she wears a wool soaker and we haven't had any leaks *runs around room frantically to touch some wood!!!* SHe also wears wee notions night notions.
