Help needed with wraps over my nn

Postby emsy » Tue Dec 13, 2011 1:27 pm

I have always used wool over my night nappies and its magic :) never had much problems but at the moment the rise on all my woolies is getting a little bit too short for going over my Wnnn and i am getting wicking :(
i don't have enough funds at the moment to be able to replace all my nighttime wool so i have tried using a few of the pul wraps i have and they have all left nasty red marks on the tops of his legs :(
i have so far tried a ll wrap and a WN wrap
any advice?
i should be able to replace my wool in the new year but i don't want to end up putting him in sposies till then !!

any fleece around?
Check the classifieds for soakers that will fit, shouldnt cost much and will certainly cost less than using disposables!
PUL wrap wise do you have/have you tried a Flip wrap? Or a Blueberry coverall? Or swipe the outer off a BTP pocket/AI2 and use that if itll fit.
You could also try added lots of extra boosting to the nappy so you could leave him without a cover or put the wool back on as the outer wont be as wet....

Put the wrap over your longies/soaker. Will stop the wicking and the red marks round the legs. I do this with my LO sometimes with fleece underneath a large PUL wrap. Works well

Okay don't be offended but have you tried just doing them up looser if my wraps are snug of a night they leave DS's legs sore but if they are loose he is fine and we don't get any leeks as long and the nappy doesnt stick out ITKWIM.
