Help needed with wraps over my nn

we used to get red marks on the legs from mother ease wraps (in fact any PUL wraps). i wasn't sure whether i was doing up the PUL wraps too tight or too slack, but when we went to wool they disappeared

fleece is a total disaster with us i have made sure that its not too tight around his legs see if that helps as we don't have any problems with pul in the day but only at night, see if that works but i doubt its that because im a sucker for not doing my nappies up tight enough because im paranoid about them being uncomfortable on his chubby thighs
