I'd just measure everything... Inside leg (from crotch to leg cuff), outside leg (from waistband to leg cuff, across the top of the thigh (width of leg), waist band (most people measure it stretched and unstretched I think..., also measure the rise (from front waist band to back waistband going through the crotch), across the hips... These possibly aren't all necessary but it's what I measure.

Measurements for green ones:
inside leg - 21cm
Outside leg - 45 cm
thigh width 14 cm
waist approx 28cm but is flexible and depends which bit I measure
Rise 51 cm

Please say if any of these sound way off and I will re do! Think I have done what you said though!

Measurements for the ones with the Yellow waistband:

inside leg 26 cm
Outside leg 51 cm
Unstretched waist 23 cm
Rise 52 cm (waistband to waistband measured through the crutch)


Multicoloured striped Longies/shorties (I used as both, at different ages!)

inside leg 18 cm
Outside leg 36 cm
Unstretched waist 24 cm
Rise 42cm (waistband to waistband measured through the crutch)

Purple striped:

inside leg 23 cm
Outside leg 43 cm
Unstretched waist 25 cm
Rise 46 cm (waistband to waistband measured through the crutch)

Not sure if I did the waist right. I just measured the width while they were laid flat. Is this right or should I have gone all the way round?
