When the time comes, can u do different cuff finishes too please joeli? id love to learn more than ribbed, rolled or knit :)

Do you have suggestions? The only other one I do is seed stitch but I can have a look around. Will also add in how to do a hemmed waistband (to make an elastic waistband) after we've mastered the basic longies. It's easy enough but requires learning how to do a provisional cast-on which can be tricky.

Erm, well the ruffles look nice. Picot (?) edging too. I don'tknow what others you can get :giggle: :oops:

I didn't even think of ruffles! Picot edging is easy enough, I think it'll roll though. I'll have to have a play.

I always forget about picot edging too! I've seen different ways of doing it though, maybe one method stays flatter than the other? There's twisted rib too, although that's one I've never got around to doing. Garter stitch cuffs maybe, and there's moss (seed) stitch or irish moss stitch, basketweave, and some lace patterns that might work depending on the number of stitches used...but I'm just looking through a knitting book at the minute so thats where those ideas are coming from :giggle:
