Lunch box lunches - weekly menus - Add yours :-)

I thought it'd be a good idea to have a thread for packed lunches, for ideas and inspiration.

We buy our shopping on a Friday so thats when our menu starts

Friday (tomorrow); Tuna, sweetcorn, saladcream wholemeal barm
Salad tub; peppers, cucumber, baby tomates
Fruit tub; apples, grapes
fromage frais

Monday; Quorn bacon, cream cheese bagel
salad tub; cucumber, kidney beans, peppers
fruit tub; apples, grapes
Frozen frube

Tuesday; Mackrel and branston pickle wrap
salad tub; cucumber, olives, baby tomatoes
fruit tub; satsumas, apple
yogurt

Wednesday; 2 potato cakes (dry but cooked and cooled)
Quorn sauage and cheese cubes
salad/fruit tub; carrot sticks, apple slices, sweetcorn
Homemade flapjack

Thursday;Homemade Basil Pesto pasta & sweetcorn
Fruit scone
fruit slices
fromage frais

I like the sausage idea.

S wont eat cold pasta which has thrown me a bit as i had planned the odd pasta lunch

Oh my goodness, you put me to shame

Jonah gets either ham, tuna, chicken or cold sausage sandwich/roll, crackers with cheese, raisins, fruit, salad, home-made cereal bar & juice. Very noccasionally he will get a choccie biscuit! He will eat cold pasta though so occasionally he gets left-overs from tea the night before.

He doesn't tend to get bored though and always eats everything

Just done ours

Monday - ploughmans roll, carrot and pepper sticks, dried pineapple, dried mango and banana chips, water
Tuesday - couscous with cucumber, peach, flapjack, milk
Wednesday - puff pinwheels, natural yogurt with pureed apple, muesli cookies, kiwi and satsuma, water
Thursday - sausage and tomato wrap, cheese and seed biscuits, banana, mini muffin, juice
Friday - school dinner

Nathan has surprised me by eating most or all of his lunches so far.He is only at nursery tues,wed thurs 9-1 but has lunch there. Tues- dinosaur shaped cheese sandwiches,apple crisps, yogurt and apple juice
wed-bagel (if I can persuade him not to need dinosaur sandwiches!) with butter and cheese on the side,few cocktail sausages,dried fruit and yogurt with juice
thurs-cold pasta & pesto, yogurt and juice.

no need to apologise- he even tried chapatti tonight as I used the dinosaur cutter.
