Favourite Slow cooker recipe!

Inspired by missfrodo's recent thread about her new slow cooker thought it would be good if we all shared our one favourite slow cooker recipe.

It can be sweet or savoury!
Or you could ask for a request for a good recipe for something if you want too!

If we can try and keep chat to a minimum - then this would be a great thread to keep as a reference for us all when we want to try something different!!

We had a lovely chicken and apricot tagine this week.

Well we had our first slowcooker meal tonight and because we liked it very much here's the link:

It was the crockpot black bean chili, did prepare the other meals as well so might get back with another favorite.
Very good point of this meal is the fact that it's enough to eat for 2 days and you can eat it with rice, cornbread, tortillas, etc.

Anyone else have any favourite slow cooker recipes?

Really trying to branch out what we eat - as seem to have got into a bit of a rut with the same meals each week!

I'm in need of some more recipes please!

A friend was telling me last week that she does roast chicken in hers which I fancy giving a go.

I personally chuck anything in my slow cooker although I did one last week which was gorgeous.

Beef strips in steak seasoning
Add the usual browned onion and mushrooms, tin tomatoes, veggies (usually carrot and broccoli as the only veg DH eats) beef stock and a bit of gravy granuals to thicken up.

So easy but delicious!
