Home made pesto!

Postby clothmama » Wed Aug 12, 2015 3:39 pm

My basil is doing really well (pick taken after I'd harvested) so I decided to make homemade pesto for the first time - it was a great success and so so so delicious! I used cashew as that is what I had but I spotted another recipe that used walnuts so I'm going to do that once our walnuts are ready and then it will be almost all home grown produce!

How did your walnut pesto go @clothmama? I've got a friend with a new baby and a two year old - I remember how hard that is, so making a few foodie bits for her. I've got basil, pine nuts, walnuts parmesan and garlic...
