What to do with figs?

So the peaches were slightly scary but dealt with with a couple of hours peeling and chopping on a couple of days but now the figs are starting wo ripen. We have 3 huge trees - I'm scared and they are full of fruit!

If anyone can please give me some easy / quick / yummy ideas I'd be eternally grateful!

Ahha another one I can help with! My mum has loads of fig trees, she makes fig jam, dries them with fennel seeds, and bottles them with whiskey and ginger
She also makes goats cheese and fig tarts for the freezer and fig ice cream.
Figs are a menace for ants and fruit flies so make sure you wash them as soon as you pick them or you will end up infested!
