What to do with cherries?

so I have 1.5kg of cherries and I dont' think we'll get them all eaten in time for them not to go bad. Any suggestions as to what I can do with them?

I definitely would have eaten most of them by now.

I would go for jam or a thick sauce that you could add to pies etc.

Good ideas, I could freeze a sauce. Would I need to take the seeds out first?
