Louise wrote:I don't rate pockets and AIOs on newborns at all. They aren't particularly absorbent and are pretty useless at poo containment IMO. I had a few small WN pockets but we barely used them. M wore fitteds and wool from birth and we had to boost those for the first few weeks to get them to last longer than an hour! Our favourites were Owe Whoa When and Hollow Oak followed by XS Dunk n Fluff and Holdens Landing when she was a bit bigger.

The reason I'd like at least a few AIOs / pockets is in case I have anyone doing the changing who needs things to be kept simple (possibly including me when sleep-deprived!), or for when I'm in a hurry / everything else is drying or in the wash.

My next thing (and not for a while) is probably to get started on producing a few wool soakers. I'm quite happy with a pair of needles, including adapting and experimenting with patterns - especially when it's small, quick things, but obviously you never know if someone's going to have a wool/lanolin allergy, so I don't want to go crazy.

I really rate the old style tots bots, I have used my bamboozles from day 1 and am still using them nowbut a bit short in the rise so will be selling on soon. Also little lambs bamboo get a thumbs up here too. We really like the oww fitteds too, green panda are very similar too and uk wahm too.
For nb days I found diddy nippas great but boosted with a little lamb bamboo booster as I seem to produce heavy wetters!
Enjoy fluff buying.
