I've never had one as we don't get on with front fastening nappies and I can't stand serged nappies either but haven't heard great things about them TBH. Have a look here for some reviews. It seems people either love them or hate them.

It's to do with how the edge of the nappy is finished off

In the US they call overlockers sergers, hence what would be an overlocked edge to you or I is a a serged edge in the US

I got my 2 today and have used them both already.

First one - Lasted hours and still wasn' t that wet so was starting to think they were brilliant. But then When I changed her into the second, she was quite wet within about half hour, so maybe she was sort of holding in her wee? It still lasted quite a while longer and didn't leak though.

BUT it is quite small in the rise and she kept getting a builders bum! In fact, twice, it fell right down!!! She fell over because her nappy was at her knees! This was with a wool soaker over the top. :-?

Elouise also has a VERY red bum, but to be fair, I haven't washed the nappies myself so no idea what they had last been washed in.
