How many times are you supposed to prewash bambinex bamboos?

Just got 3 in the post this morning and want to start using them but how many prewashes am I supposed to give them before using? Or can I put them straight on which is what I actually want to do?

Bamboo takes about 8-10 washes before its at full absorbency although there is no reason you can't use them straight away, just boost them and/or change more often to start with. I NEVER prewash nappies anymore, too impatient to start using them.

Thanks, Louise! I knew ther was some crazy prewashing involved! Well I won't go so far as to wash them 8 times! Maybe once?
