We use totsbots on Harry (14 months) and they're great, but we find them bulky as well, more so on a newborn. So we use them for naptime (when we put H in a sleeping bag without his jeans/trousers anyway) and for night (with boosters). We always buy the next size up in vests/babygros to go over cloth nappies and have got used to this now, but it was irratating at first as we had sooooo many tiny clothes that didnt fit. We use Onelife fitteds the rest of the time and pocket nappies for out and about. This works for us and we love using cloth nappies :D
You'll find out what works best for you, perhaps have another try when you feel up to it  Leanne

My little girl has a huge fluffy bum in her tots bots, I was really struggling to find clothes that fit her as she has such little legs bless her, I have found that dungarees fit lovely on her as plenty of room round the bum :) and perfect length.
