I loved Swaddlebees OCV nappies when Lili was smaller (I'm sure I still would if I hadn't gotten hooked on WAHM OBV nappies ), and the smalls are reduced to clear at Babykind. They're adorable, and lovely and soft.

There are some fabulous organic bamboo velour (obv) nappies out there...
most easy to get hold of at present are dunk 'n' fluff, Fluff 'n' Stuff and Holdens Landings
UK work at home mums (wahms) that make them are Hollow Oak (PM Emma S on here) I think Heavenly Anarchist on folksy has one still for sale, Jimmy Riddles if you can find them preloved as she doesn't make nappies very often, Puddlekins, erm and there's more...

Tots bots do an organic cotton terry nappy I believe but it's been a while...

They dont do cotton at all any more, only bamboo :( Our Tots cotton ones are our workhorse nappy too. Used with 2 babies and still loads of wear in them.
