I don't if we're just round the house/in the garden, but I check it often to make sure the outside isn't wet! :) He lasted 3hrs in my Wild Child today with no cover, but then pooed :( I was trying to see how long it would last before the outside got wet!

I can't really leave Max coverless as he can saturate a nappy very quickly. Now that its getting really hot I just put him in a t-shirt, fitted and shorties or a soaker

Almost always but if she's wandering around in the garden and it's hot I wouldn't bother altho' it means more sunscreen

Wool - usually interlock the rest of the time...

I've only tried without a cover once and he peed all over unsuspecting dh :giggle: he's a dreadful bladder holder (ds not hubby). I found it highly amusing tho'.

WSS

Iris just pees way too much to go coverless.

I've never really tried without a cover, but will do outside when it's hot again. I love pretty fitteds but understand why you say it's a shame to cover them up - I'd just buy plain nice fitteds with funky covers. Therefore, need less covers and can save money for fab pockets. It's a win-win all round!

yes we use them without covers when we are at home, atm he just wears a nappy (and a bib...) as its so hot. We can last 2 to 3 hours before it gets damp on the outside, depending on which nappy type it is, i love our LLS day nappies, they last 3 hours no problem. I havn't tried going out without a cover yet tho, just in case. But i guess as long as you change them every 2 hours it wouldnt be a problem. I dont have a heavy wetter though... I think its a shame to cover up the pretty nappies too
