Wee notions northern lights

Postby Bobble » Tue Jun 15, 2010 10:13 pm

So the search goes on for the perfect fitted :-?
So I think I've finally worked out that I need something absorbant enough for a heavy wetter, concealed poppers, preferably bamboo and not too expensive (less than £15 new) :)

I have a large WNNN and it's a good fit on dd. The bamboo velour WNNL seems pretty good value for a poppered bamboo nappy. Would you recommend them for a heavy wetter?

I'd say you'd need to boost them for a heavy wetter. These were my staple fitted for my heavy wetting DD, I used to add a babybeehinds bamboo fleece trifold booster and they last me a good 2.5-3hrs. So yes but not without boosting.

I have a heavy wetter & WNNL last her a good 2.5 hours without boosting. They would be saturated by 3 hours though

WNNL would last about 1 hr on my heavy wetter with no boosting, 3 hours MAX with boosting.

Same here, they're not the first nappy i go for in the morning on Noah which is when he needs a super absorbant nappy.

Painted claws - would you mind me asking which one you do reach for? I've done 3 nappy changes since 8.30 this morning - I didn't think a 1 year old could pee so much :giggle:

I use WNNL a lot on Ethan and he's a heavy wetter. I get about two hours, but it depends on how much he's drunk. I find that our best nappies by far are Dunk n Fluff. :D

I didn't get on with them at all for my heavy wetting DD. The fit was wrong and, for their relative bulk, they aren't the most absorbant nappies - i.e. compare them to a slim fitting nappy like Dunk n Fluff and the absorbancy isn't great.

I have one in small for my DS and I like it, but so far, he doesn't seem to be a very heavy wetter.
