Boosting dunk n fluff

Postby LynniferT » Thu Oct 27, 2011 5:30 pm

Well my gorgeous dunk n fluffs arrived beginning of the week and DD has only worn them today after 3 prewashes and they aren't lasting long! I didn't have the brains to ask Tami to make them for a heavy wetter...duh!!

We have a preloved DnF with the zorb insert which lasts longer than the new (quite thin inserts) so was wondering what is best to boost them with?

Was thinking of buying a sheet of zorb II and making some boosters?

So DnF users...What do you boost yours with please :-)

I've never had to boost my DnFs apart from when they were brand new and hadn't reached full absorbency. I use little lamb bamboo or Puddlekins/Little Gumbut bamboo or zorb boosters in my nappies that need boosting.

i've always had tammie make the dnf's with zorb, and i still have to boost them further. I bought zorb II and bamboo fleece and made inserts of one layer of each. I then put 2 of those in (well i did until dd grew too big for that to still do up),now we're down to 1 in each but it is sopping wet after 2 hours.

They already have zorb in them. Its inside the nappy. I would use a little lamb bamboo :)

I'd try a little lamb bamboo booster too.
But also they may improve once they've been washed a few times more. My DnF & HL seem much more absorbent after 8-10 washes. I don't prewash them that many times, but just accept for the 1st few goes they will need to be changed sooner.
