Children's Days Out

Postby freckle » Mon Feb 08, 2010 8:10 pm

We've got a load of Tesco clubcard vouchers we thought we might use for some day trips out for the kids. Thought we might also take advantage of the £29 premier inn nights and get away for some overnight trips.

Do you have anywhere that you would recommend as a great place to take the kids? bearing in mind we are in Bristol but are willing to go about 3 hours drive. Or even if you think your town is worth an overnight stay as there is loads to see?

I thought maybe the Eureka Museum and remembered that a few of you had visited so would know what it's like but basically anywhere that will hold some amusment for us as with OH and I both being foreign we haven't really explored much of the UK.

Crealy is a nice day out, indoor soft play ares big and small, outdoor rides, rollercoaster log flume etc etc, animals to pet, shows for the kids, picnic areas, cafes, umm loads really. Handily situated just off the M5
