Boy In The Striped PJ's

I've just read this as well. Never heard of it before and had no idea what it was about so was quite taken aback as I got into the book and figured out what it was about. I did enjoy it though and thought it was a good change from the usual books about the holocaust. Very sad of course, couldn't quite believe the ending.

The book has gone down really well with the year 8's at school, it's a great way to give children an understanding and generate a pursuit of eductaion about the atrocities that happened. The film was as distressing as the book, but it's well worth reading and watching.
