bryc1 wrote:So far I think it is ok but not one of the better books that she recommended to me,she does have a dog so maybe to get the most out of it you need to of been there. Will finish it seeing as I chose it and its not that I don't like it more like it is not grabbing me and I can put it down, hopefully it will get better. Sorry ladies

I am enjoying it although not one that i cannot put down like you say Bryony but as i am a dog owner maybe it's more a case of 'i've been there and done it' with Millie in her younger days and so can relate to a degree the destruction of a puppy!! :giggle: :giggle:

I finished it last night too but I really didn't enjoy it and I had to force myself to finish it  :-? . I thought it was poorly written and overly sentimental at the end :-?

The glass of wine was mostly just to celebrate the fact that I don't have to read it any more :hohoho: .

I didn't really enjoy the book, although a (very) few small parts did make me laugh, and at the end I had tears rolling, although I blame the fact that I'd had a couple of glasses of wine LOL

Maybe it wasn't a particularly bad book, if it's the type of book you normally read. But it's absolutely not my kind of book. I don't like soppy chick-lit (which I'd consider this to be, even though it was written by a bloke)
