Bamboo inserts - how many layers

Hi there, I use the little lamb bamboo boosters- I started out using one folded double at the front ( i have a boy) with a microfiber but always found that they wicked before the boosters were saturated. I'm now wrapping a small mio prefold around a small little lamb bamboo - it fits nicely within the folds and this combo has been brilliant in all my pockets - no more soggy vests for us
