Pocket bot am I doing something wrong?

Postby worcestercat » Wed Apr 01, 2009 7:56 pm

Got my pocketbots today and love the design and shape of the nappy but things didn't go to plan :crossbaby:
I tried out my pocket bots and it was only on my daughter for a short while (1hr 30 mins) and it wicked (leaked at the legs through the material- the fleece and the patterned material). There is a really helpful section on the pocketbots website that explains things that you can do to prevent this:
1) Don't over stuff!
I had a BBOS hemp/micro in but hadn't over-stuffed it.
2) Don't do it up too tightly
I had it on the smallest setting- maybe it was too tight (??) but my little one is only18lbs at 14 months so she is very slim and tall.

I also noticed that the fleece inside had not stayed particularly dry... :-?

Anyway, has anyone got any helpful advice or experience of what I can do?

What was the outer made of? We don't get on with cotton outers at all as they wick terribly.

Well... that's probably the problem then... I didn't envisage she would only be able to wear it for 1.5 hours :x

Hehe, beginning to wonder why they are made with cotton outers... The nappy is gorgeous but now I have wasted my money. I wouldn't consider my daughter to be a heavy wetter either. :crossbaby:
