Green Kids - massive!

Postby squidsin » Fri Jul 03, 2009 7:12 am

I just ordered a Green Kids funtime, minkytime and anytime for my 2 week old son as they're cute and I've heard good things, but even though they are BTP, they seem massive! They don't popper down like his BumGenius for a smaller fit. Am I meant to fold them down? And can anyone recommend a good insert?

To reduce the size, you just fold down the front. The aplix then sticks to the exposed inner of the nappy, if that makes sense.

Can't help you with inserts as I didn't like the GKs I had, so sold it rather quickly.

I know Beck has used GK on her los from a very early age but tbh I found I couldn't use them comfortably until Ben was able to wear them without folding them down. They are a great fit on him now but I would say quite bulky on a newborn, but then all onesizes are

I only started using them when anna was 6 months & it was big on her then so would be big on a younger baby Never liked folding the front down as it looked messy but great once you don't need to.

i love the Greenkids Bamboo inserts & use them in a lot of my pockets now
