Coolababy

Postby Bobble Boy's Mum » Sun Oct 04, 2009 4:39 pm

Has anyone tried Coolababy nappies? Are they any good?

I am looking to get some basic pocket nappies (so I'm not fussed what they look like) to act as emergency nappies to put ready stuffed into our 'if we get stranded' bag in the car for the winter and these keep coming up when I search for cheap pockets so was wondering what people thought of them especially if you have used them on a smaller baby.

Or if there are any other cheap pockets people would recommend let me know :)

Just thought now it is October I had better start planning ahead for winter!

i got a few of them as back ups, they're pretty good actually, not much good from birth, i think they only now do up on the tightest setting on my lo and he is 13 and a half ish pounds. i've not had them leak and personally like them over bumgenius nappies, i was pleasantly suprised! they're one of the few pockets i actually get on with.x

ive just got some preloved and i realy like them. they are similar to fuzzis in my opinion and the fact that they are btp is great. ethan is over 16lbs now and they are fitting him fine. i have the first lot of poppers done up so the rise is smaller on him. i would say that to get the very best out of them you should put a hemp booster in underneith the insert it comes with, its still slim fitting but very absorbant then for a pocket nappy. ive only got two so far but want more now!

But you can only wash them on cold according to the instructions!

The waterproof layer inside mine has gone really horrible.

If I wash at 40 then it kind of sticks to the outer and feels "crispy" if that makes sense.

These are the nappies I use when Anna poos an hour or so before bed or bath time. Don't trust them for anything else.
