Would that still prevent the fibres overheating? It seems like it could be a possible solution as the bamboo isn't in direct contact with the hot radiator...

We don't have a tumble drier or room for one. Our bamboo is line dried outside and then aired off on a ceiling airer. But it still takes forever (2-3 days). If we have the heating on I'd finish it on the radiator. I don't use it very much as the hemp I have dries faster.

I dry mine on an airer. If its nice i put then outside, if not i stand them in front of the radiator so warm but not direct heat

I tumble on low for a short time (to keep them soft
) and then air dry. Even with tumbling a bit some of my bamboo takes an age to dry (think LL bamboo).

I've got 2 of those and use them all the time, just bought a lovely new airer today. I dry my inserts either on the line or on the airer or radiator thingys and finish of in the dryer x
