Order of inserts in the pocket?

Hey All,

Just a bit of advice as I'm not sure what order to stuff our nappy in. I'm planning on using large PD bamboo with EP hemp, but don't know what order to put them in. I've seen a few on here say that they use the hemp underneath the bamboo, but my understanding is that bamboo is the slower of the two to absorb? If that's true it makes sense to put the hemp first.

DS is a heavy wetter, and wee'd through a BBOS in less than an hour before I stopped using my nappies while I could sort things out, and I have some MF cloths too, but I'm not sure whether I should steer clear of those as I've seen some on here say they can make matters worse as they are much more prone to compression wicking. Would this happen if they were at the centre of the stack though? My WNNN has a MF layer, and I'm really hoping it's not going to cause a problem.

I would always put hemp at the bottom

hemp is certainly the slowest so should go on the bottom.

The new wnnn haven't got much mf in them, it's just to stabilise tne stay dry layer. Most of the nappy is bamboo, so v absorbant.

Mf is also good during the day for giving that bit of extra absorbancy when it's needed. I just steer clear of significant amounts of it overnight.

Thanks for the replies all. I think I'll try to leave out the MF inserts for now and see how it goes. I am hoping I won't need it with the EP hemp and PD inserts together. Fingers crossed! :D
