I was hoping to sell my WNNN to pay for some inserts but I'm wondering if I could just cut up the NN inserts for pockets?

It's a tri-fold bamboo with hemp insert (I think).

Would it work just as well?

I use my old WNNN inserts inside Ryan's Minkis at night so there's no reason why you can't use them in your pockets. It might be a little bulky for daytime use though.
